We’re an Australian husband and wife team who, while planning a winter holiday to Japan in 2013, got hooked on creating beanies. Five years later, with time on our hands and that seed planted, we started to evolve.
I have an innate desire to be creative and have always been drawn to making things, perhaps because I come from a line of creative Mauritian women who have always inspired me.
Chauffe-Moi, a French term which literally translated means Make Me Warm, lies at the heart of what I create through working with a range of different fibres. I love the transformative nature of what I do, watching something beautiful unfold as I work it through crochet, knitting, braiding, beadwork etc.
Gisele, my amazing and very talented 91 yr old Mum, has been an ardent and supportive crocheter with me from the beginning whilst Chris, my husband, is the creative energy behind the tech scene.
Since I love being creative, new and different designs are continuously in the pipeline. I particularly love colour and style, and am fastidious about detail.
